Description
Starting from everyday lived experience, Something not right questions what is “right” [...] exploring what can be labeled as “wrong” across different contexts.
Does opposing two “correct” points of view result in something “incorrect”? [...]. Can multiple “wrong” bodies create a “right” image?
Something that “is not right” exists in a liminal, undefined region.

HellO° is an offshoot of OtellO [...] from William Shakespeare [...]
HellO° is the body of the tragedy [...] exposed until it loses consciousness.
Inlet

Credits
Concept / Choreography / Visual Art: Saeed Hani
Dancers: Ana F. Melero, Francesco Ferrari, Michelle Scappa
Costume Design: Carolin Schäfer
Light Design: Marc Thein
Music: Jakob Schumo
Production: Hani Dance Company
Description
INLET explores the significance of walls and borders throughout history, examining their role as boundaries, fortresses, and barriers that influence human interactions and perceptions. Inspired by the legend of Romulus and Remus, where a city wall holds deep symbolic meaning, the piece raises thought-provoking questions about the relevance of walls in today’s world.
Through raw movement and compelling visuals, the dancers embody themes of separation, confinement, and the longing for freedom. Without distraction, their bodies convey a universal truth that resonates deeply in the present. INLET is more than a performance; it is an immersive experience, a call to reflect, to feel, and to break free.

Contribution: MIC, Regione Emilia-Romagna, Comune di Ravenna, Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna
Description
Paradiso is a long duration performance by gruppo nanou, Alfredo Pirri and Bruno Dorella, inspired by Dante's third canticle. The space — mirrored surfaces, plexiglass domes, shifting light and sound — is a place to inhabit, open for at least three hours a day, with free access like a museum exhibition.
Eight dancers move through a choreography of visions and actions that compose and decompose in the moment, while the audience moves freely, chooses its own point of observation, builds its own path. Every Paradiso is different: a site of encounter, of spontaneous community, a unique and unrepeatable experience.

Performed By: Michelle Scappa and Vittorio Pagani
Music: Renato Grieco, New Order
Light Design: Loris Giancola

Description
Shoes on is an archive of gestures and movements [...] from ancestral forms to postures of athletics and dance. Only two pairs of shoes [...] become a further subject of the scene.
An investigation of the body [...] shows the potential of nudity [...] generating a need for grounding and a lightness in not taking things too seriously.
Inspired by surrealism and authors such as Ren Hang and Eveline Bencicova [...], Luna Cenere continues her research on body, posture, and gesture.
Landscapes made of bodies [...] reveal hidden meanings and the symbolic nature of being a body.
